Vivian Chau

Senior Ballet Teacher
Vivian graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts with the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with Honours, majored in ballet. She was awarded Hong Kong Jockey Club Scholarship to participate in Guangzhou summer camp and Ballet Faculty Scholarship. Vivian obtained the Diploma of Dance Teaching Studies of the Royal Academy of Dance. She is also a registered teacher and associate of the academy. She is experienced in performances and competitions, including the Hong Kong Dance Expo, "Les Sylphides" and "Polar Express”, "Chopin Suite", "La Bayadere", "Don Quixote” etc.  Upon graduation, she completed “Australian Teacher of Dance” with Associate Teaching Certificate and started working in Hong Kong Disneyland as a full time dancer. While working in Disneyland, she has performed in different events including parades, shows and also being a host of some performances. Additionally, she attended “Maintenance Choreography” training in Hong Kong Disneyland.

Bowie Chow

Ballet Teacher
Bowie started her ballet training from the age of 4. She completed the Gifted Young Dancer Program of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She is also experienced in teaching. She participated the Teacher Workshop of Australia Teacher’s of Dancing International and Hong Kong Youth Dance Association. Bowie has an extensive experience in performance and competitions such as the Hong Kong Bauhinia Cup Dance Championship, the Hong Kong Open Dance Contest and Young Stars Award.

Xeres Tsui

Ballet Teacher
Miss Xeres started her ballet training at the age of 4 and completed all Graded and Vocational exams of the Royal Academy of Dance. She is studying the Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies and has been working as a ballet teacher since 2018. She has rich performing and choreography experiences such as “The Sleeping Beauty”, “Coppelia” and “Snow White”. She was awarded the Silver Award in the Dream Cup Dance Competition in 2023.

Chloe Leung

Outreach Ballet Ambassador
Miss Chloe started her ballet training since 5 and completed all graded and vocational examinations of the Royal Academy of Dance. She is currently training in the Professional Programme in Hong Kong Asia Dance Academy and obtained numerous awards in both local and international competitions. She debuted as principal dancer in La Bayadere performing the role of Nikiya, and later Kitri in Don Quixote along with many other performances. Her accomplishments include Silver Medal the Miami International Ballet Competition, Gold Medal Formosa Grand Prix Taiwan and Star of Canaan International Ballet Competition Singapore and Malaysia. Chloe is a committed educator. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh(PhD) and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (MA,MPhil).

Hoi Ka Cheung

Ballet Teacher
Cheung Hoi Ka is currently a student in The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, School of Dance majoring in Ballet.

She started learning ballet at the age of 4. She completed the Gifted Young Dancer Program of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She started receiving professional ballet training in Hong Kong Asia Dance Academy at the age of 16.

Hoi Ka has participated actively in local dance competitions and was awarded Bronze Award at Stars Award 2021, the Gold award at the 49th Hong Kong Open Dance Contest, Silver Award at the 48th & 47th Hong Kong Open Dance Contest. She has received Ballet Faculty scholarship 2021 in the HKAPA.

She has participated in several performances and worked with different choreographers, such as ‘Shade & Shadow” (Eve Chan), “Coppelia-Friends” (Irene Lo), “La Bayadere- The Kingdom of the Shades” (Stella Lau), “The butterfly Lovers” (Yuri Ng), “Out of the List” (Fred Yan), “The letter of Time” (Linus Kwok), “Illusion” (Fred Yan), “The Nutcracker Suite & Our Victoria” (Linus Kwok). Besides, she has also worked with choreographers such as Anh Ngoc Nguyen, Gosia Dzierzon, Sylvia Lee, Carlo AC Pacis, Zhao Na, Sylvia Wu.

Raphael Lau

Contemporary Dance Teacher
Raphael is a freelance dance artist. He started his career in KPMG after his master studies in Physics in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Following his artistic interest, he completed the Diploma in Dance Studies in Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and the Bachelor of Arts in Dance in the Cologne University of Music and Dance.

He collaborated, as a dancer artist and choreographer, with different artists and ensembles including DanceArt, Y-Space, TS Crew, Folded Paper Dance and Theatre, E-Side Dance Company, Passover Dance, Absolutely Fabulous Theatre Connection, Make a Move Collective, MichaelDouglas Collective and Kammeroper Köln. He also engages in different performing art forms such as singing and acting. He participated as a tenor in chorus in productions with Opera Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

His interest in the body's functionality drove him to become a Polestar®️ Pilates mattress instructor and he continues to explore different practices including Taichi and Xingyiquan. He believes learning and exchanging of these practices enrich the body mind connection and allow the "artistic" and "functional" perspectives of movement to feed each other.

Gigi Kam

Ballet Teacher
Miss Kam started her ballet training for the age of six. She has completed Commonwealth Society of Teachers of dancing exams(CSTD) advanced exam (ballet) and Jazz grade 7, she also obtained the CSTD Eligible Teaching Certificate. She completed the Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies and obtained the Royal Academy of Dance Registered Teacher Status. She is also active in stage performances and competitions. In the Hong Kong Solo Dance Competition, she was awarded Silver Medal.

Emily Pak

Guest Ballet Teacher
Emily was born in 1990 in Hong Kong. She completed her dance education at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. From 2013 to 2015 she danced with the Cinevox Junior Company and was a soloist there. Since the season 2015/16 she is a member of the dance company of the Theater St.Gallen.

Lorian Mader

Ballet Teacher
Lorian Mader was born in 1990 in Switzerland and completed his education until 2006 at the Académie de Ballet in Neuchâtel and from 2006 to 2011 at the Tanz Akademie Zürich under the direction of Steffi Scherzer and Oliver Matz. Subsequently, he was admitted to the Cinevox Junior Company and was featured in the production Cinderella in the choreography of Franz Brodmann. Other dance artists with whom Lorian Mader collaborated are Félix Duméril and Jacqueline Beck. With the engagement at the Theater St.Gallen in the season 2014/15, Lorian Mader began his professional stage career as a dancer, where he was last seen, inter alia, as John Elias Alder in Schlafes Bruder .
