Ray graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majored in Contemporary dance). He received his ballet training at the Hong Kong Asia Dance Academy with a full scholarship. Ray is committed to the theatre and experienced in stage production, He works as a professional dancer in "Dance me to the end of the night" by Maowei (Hong Kong), "Remnants" and "The Last Stone" by Kelvin Mak (Hong Kong), "Colossus" by Stephanie Lake (Australia), "I Will Jump Over The Fire" and "Lost Paradise" by Jorge Jauregui Allue (Spain), "The Magnificent Orange Tree" and "Curl" by Leila McMillan (London), as well as "The Closest Knot" by Judith Sanchez Ruiz (Cuba).

His recent choreographic works include Destiny(2022), Instinct(2023) and Behind(2023). The dance performance "Behind" has been invited to participate in various dance festivals.
